That hurts guys, not a single #TBT for my aching heart? Ouch!
With March Madness upon us I honestly think more people would want to take advantage of this opportunity to get their deviations out there for people to see. It's free publicity and it couldn't be easier really.
If I was participating in March Madness I for sure would be submitting to #TBT, it can't be anything but good to get voters priorly acquainted with your works instead of relying on a poll to convince them entirely, but that is just me =]
Soooooo since no one submitted this week, please do enjoy my deviation.

Submissions for #ThrowBack Thorsday February 27th are now open, the last #TBT before March Madness ensues =]
In case you have forgotten how it works, here is a quick rundown!
This is a NEW(ish) WEEKLY EVENT. And it's quite simple =]
Once more here is the breakdown!
We have TWO CATEGORIES available for submissions, and one requires no effort aside from noting us an old deviation.
New Deviations
To qualify for this category all you need do is submit a NEW deviation, via note preferably, from 2014 of any HTTYD Character as a younger version.
*ALL forms of deviations are welcome; Art, Coslpayers, Fanfictions, Crafts, etc.
*It CAN'T have been in a previous #TBT.
*If you include a fun #Hashtagline it will be featured above your deviation, otherwise we will fill this in with the title of your deviation.***
*Must be a NEW deviation from 2014 of a younger HTTYD Character.
Old Deviations
It does not get any easier than this! All you have to do is note us with a deviation that is 2yrs old(From 2012 or before) and it qualifies!
*ALL forms of deviations are welcome; Art, Coslpayers, Fanfictions, Crafts, etc.
*It CAN'T have been in a previous #TBT.
*If you include a fun #Hashtagline it will be featured above your deviation, otherwise we will fill this in with the title of your deviation.
*Does NOT have to be a younger version, ANY HTTYD deviation is allowed.
***What I mean by providing a #Hashtag Line. This does not perform any sort of function, like it would on twitter etc, except to link back to your pic- it's just for fun!
For instance, my deviation is actually called "How To Train Your Boredom" but I hashtagged it #Blue Steel on account of dem lips
lol This is of course optional, when we aren't provided with a hashtag line, I simply use the deviations title with a hashtag to link back. I think it could be a lot of fun if we got more hashtag lines in the future =]
I'm sure I am forgetting stuff so please feel free to ask any questions! I hope to see a lot of submissions this week =]

HTTYD COMMUNITY ART PROJECT
Hi all,
I am passing this info along to any interested, but fandom member Ehrola (SqueakyE (https://www.deviantart.com/squeakye)) has spearheaded a HTTYD community art project and is looking for volunteer artists.
The project involves designing tarot cards with a HTTYD theme.
Here are the details:
:bulletblue: The sign up deadline is June 25th.
:bulletblue: will need 78 participants. There are 78 cards, 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor.
:bulletblue: Once sign-ups are concluded, she will randomly assign a card to a person to draw, design, etc.
:bulletblue: If sign-ups are short, she'll start assigning multiple cards to people randomly until every card is spoken for.

MARCH MADNESS CANCELLATION
It is with a profound sadness that I announce that March Madness is cancelled this year.
There will be no final match.
I have run this activity for 5 years straight and this year had an OBSCENE amount of petty internet drama, like no other year before it. I do apologize to everyone that participated and allowed me to promote them - I hope many a new people were turned on to your HTTYD creations and found new things to love that you made.
This is a promotional activity structured around the USA NCAA Basketball brackets, it was meant to get the fandom involved and support their favorite participants, raise awareness for the group, it was me
Last Call - HTTD MARCH MADNESS NOMS
LAST CALL FOR HTTYD MARCH MADNESS NOMINATIONS
This annual fandom event is coming up THIS SUNDAY but it's nothing without HTTYD creators and user participation. We currently have about half of the slots filled with nominations but we need 64.
This is a friendly fandom activity initiated by our group that pitches the 64 of the HTTYD fandom's creators together, ultimately resulting in one creator who takes bragging rights for the rest of 2015 as the fandom's favorite.
This activity bolsters exposure for creators across social media, resulting in new people discovering their art. And there is a lot to discover since HTTYD2 came out and inspire

Hey all!
Just to preface this PSA, I want everyone to know it is not directed at anyone, especially not on deviantart. A facebook post inspired it =]
This is just a friendly reminder to everyone that while some of us have seen the second HTTYD, not everyone has. There was a facebook post from DreamWorks asking for everyone's reviews, and the comments section was littered with spoilers and hatred for them.
Let's all try to be courteous when commenting on any HTTYD 2 related anything lol And for those of you who haven't seen the movie, try to keep it in mind if you click on something, especially asking for reviews of the movie
