Toothless: Ready for adventure. by Super3dcow
I'm sure many of you don't know the story of what I've been up to, so I'm going to summarize a very long story for you.

Back in April 2012, I posted an image of me holding my original HTTYD movie ticket, and had a long story of how the movie changed me. A friend by the name of Jeffrettalyn suggested I send the letter to Dreamworks, to hear what they have to say.
I was in my last semester of school at the time, and around the same time, a friend of mine suggested I make a plush and send it to Dreamworks. After spending some time thinking and questioning others about it, I decided to go forward with it when I could, and send both together.
I believe it was September 18th when I finally started working on it, and I didn't finish it until late February! After pouring in more time into this Toothless plush than any other before, I hesitated to send it away, for I had grown quite attached to it. I talked with many people, and tried to get as much support as possible. 5 Weeks later, basically nothing had happened, so rather than waste any more time, I sent it away on Monday, August 8th, and it arrived Thursday, August 11th. The letter I included in the package had my email, DA home page, and my phone number.

On April 15th, at 9:06 PM, I was sitting at my computer when I received a call from an unknown number. I assumed it was just banks asking for me to pay my school loans or something.
The voiced asked, "Hello, is this Will?" "Yes this is Will." " Hi Will, this is Dean Debois from Dreamworks." O_O (Yes, the Director and Scriptwriter for How to Train Your Dragon)

My mind went totally blank. I could remember nothing except that he said he was from Dreamworks. I had to ask him to tell me his name again a moment later, and was frustrated at the bad phone quality that I couldn't hear what his name was. But finally, I realized who it was. He explained the plush had reached Jeffrey Katzenberg's office, and upon him opening it, was so surprised that he brought it to everyone else to show them. They were passing the plush around, taking pictures, and just enjoying it. We chatted for about 4 minutes. I just felt like a dork, constantly saying "Thank you" every few seconds because he kept saying such wondering things about the plush. I was totally unprepared for the call.
As it was coming towards the end, he told me they would be planning on putting something together to send back to me as thanks.
Before I knew it, it was over. I was ready to fall on the floor, I was, and still am, overjoyed over the whole experience. Had I been a better conservationist on a phone, I might have been able to actually talk to him about things, but when talking to such a celebrity, I couldn't keep my mind straight for a second.

So that's where things currently stand. I am now awaiting their response. Dean Deblois is such a nice guy, and it was an absolute pleasure speaking to him. I hope he doesn't think I'm a weirdo, hahaha.

I can't wait to see what they say!
